Event Handling for File State Changes: There is currently no event when a file state is changed in the CAD add-ins, meaning all release actions should be performed from the Vault Client for now.

What's new in Sovelia Vault 2025?

1. Autodesk Vault 2025 compatibility: Ensures seamless integration with the latest version of Autodesk Vault.
2. Subfolder functionality improvements:
   
   1. Special characters support: Subfolders now allow special characters in names.
   2. Multiple instances of the same property: Allows multiple instances of the same property to be used within subfolders.
3. New properties:
   
   1. Item Master ID: Added functionality to extract the Item Master ID as a property.
   2. Item Version ID: Added functionality to extract the Item Version ID as a property.
4. Watermarking:
   
   1. AutoCAD PDFs: Fixed an issue where watermarking in AutoCAD-generated PDFs was not properly centered.
   2. Office Files: Fixed an issue where watermarking did not respect settings for Office files.
5. File type support:
   
   1. Inventor DWG Support: The custom action for item-linked files now supports Inventor DWG files.
   2. Bitmap & TIFF Export: Fixed functionality to export in Bitmap and TIFF formats from drawings.
6. Lifecycle issue:
   
   1. BadStateID Fix: Fixed an issue where setting the lifecycle to "None" resulted in a BadStateID error message.
