SOVELIA – An Enterprise PLM Solution
SOVELIA is an easy-to-use and easy-to-expand PDM/PLM solution, supporting companies to achieve sustainable and lean business processes throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept phase to disposal and recycle of a product.
Functional Capabilities
The product SOVELIA covers areas from Document Management (DM), Product Data Management (PDM), to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). SOVELIA operates with three main functional modules:

On top of the functional modules, several supporting modules are working, to enhance usability and performance:
- Report Service
- Action Server
- Application Interfaces
- Add-on Application Library
Due to an open data model and a generic approach of the system the main functional modules can be used in multiple ways for different application areas. Even if SOVELIA is in use in several application areas, the look and feel, and way of operating the system remains the same. Typical application areas can be; Item management, BOM management, Document management, Engineering change management, Installed base management, and Project Data Management.

Technical Environment
SOVELIA has a built in administration interface providing the Project and Admin teams with full scale capabilities to build the SOVELIA configuration and set the parameters on functionality layer without any programming skills.
SOVELIA functionality is built on top of an open data model enabling the most efficient configuration capabilities to support customer specific processes. The data model includes the definition of different data elements to be managed in the customer environment, as well as the rules and access rights definition aspects.
