Oy Sisu Auto Ab selects SOVELIA PLM solution

Technia PLM Oy and Oy Sisu Auto Ab have signed an agreement to deploy a PLM solution based on Technia’s SOVELIA PLM Template. The PLM solution will be integrated to Sisu Auto R&D, after sales, sourcing and manufacturing processes and operations. The implementation project consists of multiple delivery phases that will be executed during the year 2011.
The PLM Solution will be based on the preconfigured SOVELIA PLM Template packages enabling rapid deployment and cost effective implementation without causing unnecessary load on Sisu Auto resources.

Oy Sisu Auto Ab founded in year 1994 continuing the business that established in 1.4.1931 under the name Oy Suomen Autoteollisuus Ab. The privately held Oy Suomen Autoteollisuus Ab is known as a pioneer of Finnish vehicle manufacturing. The company and the business was transferred to state ownership in 1974 when the founder Nessling died. When Valmet and Sisu merged their business in 1994, Oy Sisu Auto Ab was founded to continue the truck marketing, development and manufacturing in Finland.
